Another Night out!

we had a overflow of alcohol, even though i restrained myself to a large extent

In case my parents are reading this (which very very rarely happens), i am not a hardcore drunkard!, i just like to talk that way :)

anyway,
to continue with my quest of the night glory, i boldly entered the village in downtown New York, with another 6 of my friends. The occassion "bidding adieu" to (singer) Vijay (more popularly known as "Vijay Brother", or just "Brother"). Village is the part covered by the New York University. Its a huge place with lotsa young crowd and the related activities. Its a place for lotsa pubs, bars, lounges, hooka bars, food places, Tattoo parlors etc, well you get the idea, its a party place.

we first went to a bar called "Fat Black Pussy Cat" then onto some eating at the "Kati Roll", then back into "village Tavern" and finally to "off the wagon", i might have screwed up on the chronology, but who knows and frankly who cares!

by the time we took the subway and arrived back to respective crashing areas (in my case Vijay's house), it was 4:30 in the morning, poor vicky, he was on call (since he works with siemens on the technical side), and he left his house the previous day at 5:30 in the morning to go to connecticut / Jersey.

i like vijay's house, i get to crash in his basement, i like getting up to gormadize on Aunty's beautiful coffee that takes me right back to bangalore and chatting to glory with uncle (VJ's parents).

i miss my parents, i haven't seen them in 8 months now!, thats bloody 8 months which seems to have gone by in a jiffy, but there are times (as in the words of bob Dylan) "The next 60 seconds can be like an eternity"

well i guess life has its own ups and downs, since the sense of apathy is in abundance in me, i dont think i care too much for the past or the present.

planning on studying for my CPA, like i said I'm "Planning"
